All patients requesting swabs may be swabbed. Please swab all patients that are expected to be admitted.

COVID-19 Isolation Guidelines

  1. Symptomatic (COVID+ve / unknown / suspected) = minimum 14 days from symptom onset AND also 48h symptom free

  2. Asymptomatic + direct contact with known or suspected COVID+ve = 14 days from exposure

  3. Returning from abroad (symptomatic or not) = 14 days from return date
